A former Renault garage right near the Amstel station has been turned into Café/Restaurant Dauphine, which is also the name of a Renault car from the fifties. This spacious brasserie is now cool and business-like with burnt orange leather couches, white pillars and a monumental amount of glass. Dauphine has a varied menu, one can’t get enough of the dishes of fruits de mer, steaks with fries, half lobsters and pans of mussels. Customer range from boys in business suits to women beautifully dolled up.
